Top 5 Favorite Authors

Praise for books... 

So, I was thinking of bring you guys a list of authors that change my my perception of life, and that's what you're reading today. Let's begin! 

Number One: J.K. Rowling

She means a lot to me. Harry Potter is my childhood, my everything. She taught me to be brave and caring. I still remember the first time I read her and the magic beyond every word & I'm forever grateful for my parents who bought me the first book. She taught me to never, NEVER be ashamed of who I am, to never give up my dreams. You have a little piece of my heart and soul. I could say more and more of what Harry Potter and this woman's fantastic writing means to me, but, I would take me forever.

Number Two: Tarryn Fisher

She's crazy guys, but in such a good way! One of the things I'm forever grateful for it's her writing skills. That woman has not know fear. She just writes what she wants to say and doesn't give a rat's ass, and that's amazing. That's what we need. The knowledge that sometimes life it's hard and that you have to fight to make it better, to make something good about the bad. That not everything is rainbows and chocolate cake, and it's refreshing reading something like that. Also, her writing. Oh, Jesus, it's out of this world. It's easy to dive into, poetic and real. Women in her books know how to defend herselfs, are independant and strong. Her books are never dull, and will stay with you forever.

Number Three: Cassandra Clare

The first time I read her, I was freaking out. They were my first fantasy books after Harry Potter, and to be honest, I was afraid that they wouldn't stick. I was very, very wrong. Her writing captivated me. It's so easy to love her characters. And on the surface, they seem easy going, but in reality their complicated and deep. The stories of each character stay with you, and teach you a lot of things. They're epic, and you can't re-read them as much as you like, and it would never get old.

Number Four: Lauren Oliver

I read the Delirium Series first, and just like that, I was in love with her words. She's so poetic and easy going. Her books are deep and rich. She's always challenging herself and that's what I liked about authors, that they take risks. The stories are never dull and they always want you to meditate your actions and, if you're screwing something up, change it, because you only have one life. That's so good, 'cause now a days the kids just bump into action without thinking, and her books can change that, it change me at least, and I just wish that everyone would read her. So now you know. Go read her! You won't regret it.

Number Five: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Every time I need a time for just relax from a particularly tough day at my university or just have a honest laugh, I just go to my shelf and pick one of her books. They're easy, tender and with more action that you might think. I've never thought I would actually read an alien novel and loved it as much as I love the Lux Series. Her books are sweet and heartrending. The pop culture references will make you laugh to the top of your lungs.
