Synopsis:
It's the story of Olivia and Caleb. A story filled with good and bad decisions, intrigue and the most important, a story of love that it's more strong than my morning coffee. I'm terrible at doing this synopsis, i know, but I don't want spoilers in this section, that's why you have to keep scrolling, dear reader.
Spoiler Section:
The story begins in a music shop. The main character, Olivia Kaspen and she's freaking out at the sight of her lost love. We don't know who the guy is, just that there was a very dark and obscure orbe of misfortune surrounding them. When she approaches him, Caleb Drake doesn't remember anything. The guy has freaking amnesia! As the story unfolds we get to know how these two characters meet. They were so different, yet, they were perfect for each other. They've met in the university, and since then we've seen how strong and independant woman Olivia is. It's empowering reading about a woman that fights back and stands for herself.
But she has flaws (obviously, she's human, folks!). She's distrustful and for that, she tends to second guess everything, which led the horrible ups and downs with Caleb. Although this man doesn't bites the dust. He didn't try to speak up! That's part of the problem: comunication ladies and gentlemen. He seems to be more afraid of her than being actually in love with her. They make some mistakes, they both have guilt in the break up, and now, Caleb fakes his amnesia to recover the love of his life. But it's not late? Well if this trilogy taught me something, it's that it's never to late to make things right.
Caleb was already in a relationship. And I don't' want to defend Leah, but, dude if you're with someone, you're supposed to be 100% with that person. And if you can't commit, then don't make promises. Of course, Leah is crazy and a horrible human being, but, in her own twisted way, she suffered too.
Anyway, Leah and Caleb end up married (another mistake my beautiful british hot Caleb), and Olivia moves to Texas to live with Cammie, her best friend. Cammie character was a relief. Because there were many times in which I wanted to get into the story and slapped Olivia and Caleb, and Cammie would just show up and stand beside her friend and said something very funny or sarcastic, and the sun shined again
Olivia and Caleb are always after each other, whether they wanted it or not. It was their destiny to always find each other. Unfortunately, Leah take Caleb to Rome to get pregnant. Olivia finds out and went after them. In the flight she meets this guy named Noah, and she arrives in Rome to late. The book ends with Olivia marrying this Noah. Needless to say that I don't trust him
Tarryn has a God-given natural talent with letters. They just flood from her. Her stories are fascinating, real and strong. She will leave you with book hangover and you'll be begging for more of her books.
