Spoiler Section:
I thought that this book was the perfect opportunity to learn more about her and understand her motives. But I think that it just made me more angry. The story begins with she being afraid of being a mother entails, and for a couple of pages I was fond of her (obviously she was broken), and I wanted to give her a chance to redime herself, but the way she treats her daughter? leaving her in a care center alone, without food, & with cold meanwhile she was getting wasted? That made me hate her.
Later on we discover that she was an adoptive children and that maybe that's what made her what she was, but with more reason! She should've filled her child with love (I'm not a mom but, I assume that you want to give them a better world and protect them from harm)
We also know one of her best friends: Katin Reinlaskz. WHY? Why is she friends with someone who likes to take you through the mud?! And the whole drama that happens when his father died leaving her with thousands of problems (legal problems), ending up with an almost-suicide of her sister Courtney. Oh man. I was so sorry for her (I almost stab myself for feeling bad for her).
The nanny that Caleb pick for baby Stella was a friend of Cammie and I was laughing every time she appeared. We see the birthday party of Olivia where Leah meets Noah and was flirting with him. I mean, WHY LEAH WHY?!
But, she had to throw away the qualities that redimed her in all of those chapters of the past by telling Caleb that he wasn't the father of Stella, which of course, he believes her.
And that how the book ends. Let's hope that in the last book we can get a happy ending with Caleb and Olivia and Leah in a prison or living with the penguins so they could be happy without her greedy shadow lurking around. So that's it guys. Tell me in the comments if, after this book, you hate her or, like me, you admit she has her moments. I'll see ya in the next review.
